20 Great Logo Designs of 2009

A brand is not a brand if don’t have a logo. A logo design is essential for any business in any niche. But having a logo is not enough. Having a logo that suits you business is the key to make your brand stand out.
Every year the creative minds – the designers – create awesome logo designs. You may think that I’m wrong saying ‘every year’, because every day are created hundred/thousands of new logos, but I’m not. Great logo designs take time and research and only a few great logo designs are created yearly.
This is my first post after revamping 7creative. In this post I’ll showcase 20 great logo designs of the last year – 2009. Choosing only 20 was very hard and I hope that I chosen good. If not, you can add your choices in comments.
1. MyFonts – You can notice the hand, right? The font was very wise-chosen. It makes you think about typefaces.
2. City of Melbourne – Simply beautiful. The wide range of M designs makes this logo really good.
3. Ed’s Electric – Impossible not to think “Electric” when you see this logo. Incorporating also the “E” is brilliant.
4. Infinite Love – You can guess the brand name only looking to the icon.
5. WineKingdom – Very robust and powerful logo design.
6. killed Productions – My favorite logo design of the year.
7. EcoGive – One of the best eco logo designs.
8. Horror Films – Do you see the scarry face or the movie roll?
9. Elefont – Great use of the negative space.
10. inKing – A lot of “ink” logos were created in 2009.
11. Michael Jackson – Hard to forget his style.
12. Coffee – One of the most discussed logos of the year.
13. Twins – Yes, they are two.
14. Lochness – I see water and danger when I look at this logo design. That was the goal too.
15. Foot – Why the left one?
16. quitter – Hard not to think at Twitter when you see it.
17. Web Girls – Or click girls, how you want to say.
18. MusiKings – Best audio industry logo design.
19. Fly – Simply fly.
20. PhotoChick – This logo was created by me. Logo design is one of my favorite parts of the design industry. If you like the logo you can buy it at BrandStack.
Some real nice designs here. Simplicity is the key to a great logo.
